Showcasing Natural Capital Suite at the AgForce Queensland Conference

In October, Truii was a proud sponsor of the AgForce Queensland Agricultural Industry Conference 2024 in Brisbane.

Around 250 people from across Queensland’s Agricultural supply chain attended to discuss issues impacting agriculture and opportunities to support future growth.

Truii showcased our new Natural Capital Suite of web applications including:

• Natural Capital Region
• Natural Capital Project
• Natural Capital Credit

Dr David Waters, our Natural Capital Lead, walked stakeholders through how these tools can streamline investment in natural resource management, reducing traditionally high transaction costs and improving confidence in reported outcomes.

Natural Capital Project was popular as it offers landholders and project developers the opportunity to capture, quantify and report the benefits of potential on-farm projects aligned to international frameworks.

This will help the industry by making it easier to meet the growing demand for reporting against environmental, social and governance (ESG) accountability measures needed for market access. It can also help landholders to explore opportunities to diversify their income by accessing future crediting schemes.

David said a key highlight for him was Wayne Bennett, NRL Dolphins Coach, giving a keynote address on innovation and leadership, and relating it back to the agricultural sector.

David also reconnected with Michael Guerin, CEO of AgForce Queensland, who expressed his appreciation for Truii’s support as a bronze sponsor of the event.
